CORK PRODUCTS 

Cork is a perfect material for use in landscape models: the fine pored surface

creates a nice contrast to the closed-cell building parts.

Cork is easier to cut than cardboard of the same thickness.

POLYSTYRENE

The favourable properties of polystyrene (PS) have made it the classic material for model making.

PS is easy to cut and glue with standard plastic glue and can be easily thermoformed.

Hint: Create straight or curved cuts by scoring the material first with a cutter and then breaking it along the score line.

PET-G (a.k.a. PEXTAGLAS or VIVAK)

PET-G sheets are very durable and feature extremely high resistance to fatigue.

The material is ideal for thermoforming, but can also be bent ‚cold‘ over an edge and will remain in position without crazing at the bent.

BALSA WOOD

Our finnish birch plywood is remarkable for its strength. The specific material properties of all plywoods is so unique that it can‘t be substituted by other building materials.

The type and number of layers determines the individual strength characteristics. Plywood is the choice of material whenever high load is put on a very thin cross-section.

AIR PLYWOOD

EXPANDED ALU

We offer the extremely fine expanded aluminum sheets in four different rhomb sizes from 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm.

These sheets are degreased and available as plain sheets like shown here, or corrugated.

The material is popular not only for various surfaces on architectural models, but also for hobby model making and general DIY and arts and crafts work.

PROFILE STRIPS

BALSA wood and white ASA rods / dowels come in the standard length of 1 meter. 

We are also a reseller of evergreen strips.
